Fownhope Avenue – Sale

This project consists of a two storey side and rear extension to a detached house in Sale to create a large open plan kitchen, dining and family room on ground floor and to create a fourth bedroom on first floor with internal modifications to the internal layout on both levels to have a more useable and sensible floor plans.

The house benefit from a generous mature garden. Due to the orientation of the house, we designed the rear extension with maximum glazing  with roof skylights to capture as much light as possible during the day.

Our scope of work involved:

• Detailed survey of the existing house and site and development of the project brief.
• Produce design options for discussion with the clients.
• Planning submission of the agreed design to the Local Authority.
• Produce Building Regulations package and liaise with the Building Control Officers to ensure full compliance.
• Assist the clients choose a suitable contractor and prepare the project contract.
